Departure in less than 1 week!
The visa has been obtained (after two day-long trips to NYC, many phone calls, and a few money orders), the tickets are purchased, the shots received, and the guidebook read, and I'm ready to go!
There are many last minute details to take care of, and thankfully the last day of school is tomorrow so I have a few days to finish preparations.
My flights run from Philly to NYC to Delhi to Patna. The longest one is around 14 hours, but I'm prepared with videos, books, and some Ambien to help with sleeping the hours away. I'll be met at the airport by a representative from the school, then on to the teacher dorms and my new home for the next 6 weeks.
I really don't know what to expect, but I'm so excited that it's been hard to sleep. Thanks again for your support, and I hope to be able to update you often from India.
